exactly what I was looking for. this app is perfect for offline map caching. it should not be called free gps because it is not a gps as in a commun understanding. it allows u to visit a map and store it for when need it while being offline. *****

I got this app last year and found it useful, but just opened it and tried out the waypoints feature - so handy!

Brought me back to 10 meters of a waypoint I set out in the boonies. Nice. Not nice --> pop up ads very often

I ve been looking for a program like this. Useful,simply and universal.

Its good app. Exactly what I need to get back to my car when I go mushroom picking in the woods. Please make a paid app with no ads. I hate ads and Im willing to pay to remove them

Thx for this great app, I would be happy to see new design, ability to take photos with geo tags and in app ability to export waypoints in some format, so I can use it in google maps or somewhere else. Thanks again!

Awesome simple GPS app. Works as similar as you can get to a handheld GPS. Great for marking camping and hiking trails.

Exactly what I wanted. Just a basic arrow back to camp is all I wanted and this app delivered it. We do alot of desert hiking and motorcycle riding. Give used it for 3 days now and am starting to leave my garmin etrek back at camp. Great app. Thanks.

I work in the mountains for state parks and this app really works thanks free gps!

Ill put in the coordinates and look at em a few minutes later and theyll be a little different than what I put in not much I think only once it was more than one second.

Tested this app out today while blazing some new trails and it worked great! I plotted a course, followed it, and reached my destination within a few meters. Very reliable.

Great simple Gps app that works great

2.2 now has speed being displayed. Thank you! Free GPS is pretty dang simple, and thats what I like about it. Easy to enter your current waypoint. Font size is very easy to read. I use both standard and metric between work and personal life, so the update to metric is helpfull. I will be contacting the developer to add one desired feature, current speed. I have Gala and a few others, but for most of my location questions I only need a minimal amount of information. It does what I need it to do and has a small footprint. Pretty much a no naggy, wonderfully basic app. Basic is a compliment. K.I.S.S.
