Pure GPS stores and directs users to waypoints using latitude and longitude coordinates. Pure GPS delivers the necessary functionality to utilize the iPhones built-in GPS in a simple clean interface.
The best thing about Pure GPS is its simplicity. If you plug in the latitude and longitude, Pure GPS will direct you to your destination. Its as easy as that! With Pure GPS there is no need to understand a complicated interface.
Pure GPS features maps, metric and customary measurements, speed and heading.
Locations can be entered into Pure GPS by entering in coordinates, by marking the users current location, or by a long press on the map. Now users can share a waypoint with a friend through email!
Users can store multiple waypoints and navigate to them. The user can also save their current position as a waypoint to navigate back to later.
In addition, Pure GPS can notify you when you get close to your waypoint even while running in the background.
Pure GPS does not require users to create an account or share their waypoints in any manner.

This is exactly what Ive been looking for. App should have a different name though.
exactly what I was looking for. this app is perfect for offline map caching. it should not be called free gps because it is not a gps as in a commun understanding. it allows u to visit a map and store it for when need it while being offline. *****
I got this app last year and found it useful, but just opened it and tried out the waypoints feature - so handy!
Brought me back to 10 meters of a waypoint I set out in the boonies. Nice. Not nice --> pop up ads very often

Some bad moments
Horrible mess of an app. There is nothing positive I can say about it
Tested this app out today while blazing some new trails and it worked great! I plotted a course, followed it, and reached my destination within a few meters. Very reliable.
Lets say the last 3 digits of a set of coordinates are 448. When you set them as the waypoint, it rounds it up to 450. That makes it nearly impossible to find geocaches. This bug needs to e fixed.
Today i did a class project with this app and for some it worked. Some stood on the pin that it called for and were nowhere close to it. Others said it was 10 miles away. One person said the coordinate was in cuba! Please fix! And it also was not very accurate in telling me how far away i was from the waypoint. I would stop moving, and the distance would keep counting down and floundering back and forth. It would be worth at least 4 stars if it didnt tell people to walk to cuba!
This used to be my favorite app. Ever since the iPhone update, it crashes during every use. Plus, codeburners havent updated in almost 2 years.
This app used to be really good. With the new update my accuracy radius never falls below 200 feet. This makes this app unusable.
Time to look for a new gps app.
